The Down River Chama 2-Bay Raft Frame LD is our sportiest frame. Small and lightweight it's an ideal day frame designed for rafts up to 13ft to stay as light as possible. Built to fit a good sized cooler for day trips, throw in your dry bags and you're ready for an overnighter. The Down River Chama 2-Bay Raft Frame LD includes oar towers, kick bar, and low back seat.

Every Down River frame is custom designed and built to specifically fit your boat and your needs. We do not believe in the one size fits all approach. When you purchase a DRE frame, we will set the length and width to fit your boat and the bay openings to accommodate your gear.  All frames are built onsite which gives us great flexibility in meeting your needs.  We design our frames with safety and functionality in mind. Only Down River frames provide maximum storage in your cargo area by utilizing designs that don’t waste space.
