Utah Whitewater Gear provides high quality repair services for inflatable boat equipment. Over the past ten years, we have been doing quality work with common sense advice on how to move forward with damaged, worn, and faulty inflatable craft.

We are certified service center for AIRE/Outcast, NRS, Hyside, Achilles, and Kokatat (gasket repair only).

Raft and Inflatable Repair

We do NOT do estimates over the phone due to the nature of the different fabrics and materials. We can have a better idea with pictures but must rely on in-person evaluation of repairs.

ALL ITEMS BROUGHT IN FOR REPAIRS NEED TO BE CLEAN AND DRY. If we have to clean it it will be at the full shop rate.

Our shop rate is $75 an hour with a one hour minimum.

We weld PVC and Urethane.

Common repairs:

  • punctures
  • valve replacement
  • valve updating
  • blown seams (specifically SUP's)
  • wear patches
  • urethane coating
  • d-ring replacement
  • handle replacement
  • bladder repair
  • bladder replacement
  • hard to find leaks
  • SUP fin box replacement
  • floor install (AIRE)

More difficult and expensive repairs:

  • blown baffles
  • raft floor fitment
  • large holes
  • floor de-lamination
  • blown floors
  • large area urethane coating

The nature of the service department is broken, worn, and aging rafts. We reserve the right to NOT work on items that we deem un-repairable, un-safe, or otherwise a liability to us. These repairs are not as straight forward and require some deliberation to decide whether it is worth actually repairing. Due to the age it may be cost effective and safer to look at buying another raft.

All of our repairs are guaranteed for one year.

Dry Suit Repair

  • Neck gasket replacement - $95 plus tax
  • Wrist gasket replacement - $55 plus tax
  • Ankle and latex foot replacement - $65 plus tax

We currently do NOT offer any fabric repair or leak testing.

Deric, keeping us on schedule.
