The Down River Animas Stern Raft Frame XD is designed for those who like the idea of a stern frame but want a little more mechanical advantage than typical stern frame designs. Our outfitters love this frame because they stack well with multiple boats on a trailer and the extra leverage gained by the extended oar towers when working in big water or with large paddle crews. This frame is built with the same quality as all Down River frames but is fully welded and does not have breakdown capabilities. The low back tractor seat is mounted on an adjustable track for different guide leg lengths.  While the slant board option allows guides to move their hips fore/aft for leg length. Give your guides and customers the absolute best with the Down River Animas Stern Raft Frame XD.

The Down River Animas frame is designed to fit 13' and 14' rafts using 9ft oars, which makes it an ideal outfitter frame as it will work well on a variety of mid-sized rafts in a fleet.  We do offer customization of this frame for an additional charge, please contact our sales team to discuss your design ideas.
