Well dang, River Rats… y’all blew us away.
The first-ever Utah Whitewater Market was a massive success, and we couldn’t have done it without you. From the moment the doors opened, the energy was electric—and so were the deals. Over 250 paddlers, swappers, and gearheads came through to make it a day to remember.
Let’s talk about that gear swap for a second. The hottest used gear was gone in 15 minutes flat. We're talking Tributary Spuds for $215, spray skirts for $10, 3 Cataract Oars for $300, and even a full, beautifully-built 16' Avon Raft Package for $5,000 snapped up by savvy river runners faster than a ducky in spring runoff.
We had 19 incredible vendors on-site, repping everything from packrafts to drysuits and custom rafting egar. They loved getting to talk shop with our community and were stoked to share their brand stories, river-tested wisdom, and maybe even a few industry secrets.
And of course… the raffles.
We had hundreds of raffle tickets flying like confetti—and those little paper stubs turned into tens of opportunity drawing winners and four big prize champions who paddled away with a full raft setup, packraft package, a raft upgrade kit, and brand-new kayak.
Whether you came for the gear, the giveaways, or just to high-five your river fam, we’re beyond grateful for your support. This was just the beginning, and the stoke you brought to this market is fueling some BIG ideas for the future.
