The Atcha, the original board that defined whitewater inflatable SUPs, is perfect to play your way down a whitewater descent.
Hit your line as you stomp whitewater on a stable board that is playful by nature. The Atcha, the original board that defined whitewater inflatable SUPs, is perfect to play your way down a whitewater descent. It’s a great fit for all whitewater paddlers and those looking for more stability than the Atcha 86. Catch steeper waves and navigate the river in a whole new way. It’s the best downriver plus “surf on the fly” board ever made, brought to you by the company that is leading the charge in whitewater SUP and inflatable technology. After obsessive prototyping and re-prototyping (since 2012), the Atcha satisfies our desire to make the best even better.
Just when I thought this board couldn’t get any better… it did! The changes in the shape have made this board more stable without sacrificing any of the mobility.
A 1.5” stomp pad allows for precise control and maneuverability of your board.
A sliver of the deck pad is removed from under the handle so that it “steps flat”. No more of your handle getting in the way while you’re walking your line. A removable padded neoprene handle provides comfortability for carrying the board.
A diamond grroved EVA deckpad allows for maximum traction through the gnarliest of whitewater sections while still being gentle enough for the bare hands and feet in your downward dog.
Located just before the stomp pad is raised EVA on your deck pad. It is a small, centralized rectangle so you can easily step your foot back to the center of the board without ever taking your eyes off the water.
All of our rigging points are now made of high quality webbing to prevent the knuckle busting that metal rings cause. And since these webbing rings are designed as close to the center stringer line as possible, you don't have to sacrifice performance when you need to strap heavy gear on board.
Located on the side of the board, these handles allow for a passenger to hold on tight or for a quick recovery in the event that you go for a swim.
An additional layer of PVC runs through the center of the board to further enhance the stiffness of these boards.
Tow your board from the D-Ring rigging point located under the nose. This comes in handy on multiday river trips or for tying your board up when you want to take a break.
With one hand, the bungee chord up front conveniently and quickly holds your paddle when you're doing yoga or reeling in the catch of the day!
These board can take a serious beating and you can keep on cruising with our burly Double-Layer Drop Stitch material. How do we make our boards so rugged? A second layer of thick, liquid PVC is poured over the raw drop stitch material for the best abrasion resistance available. Burly material for a burly board on your burly adventure. No more supermanning off your board! The fin retracts into the board upon contact with unanticipated rocks for an undisturbed run, allowing you to paddle the shallowest rivers and creekiest lines, year round. See the Stompbox™ in action here.
These gummy side-bite click fins are flexible and durable for paddling shallow, rocky whitewater and perfect for control on flat water or low volume river waves.
Gives you two balance points in the tail, instead of one, so the board resists tipping. It gives a bit more bite to your turns while surfing. Allows for water to bail off the top of your board quickly and symmetrically for a controlled recovery in whitewater paddling.
A rolling backpack designed with each rolled board shape in mind. This roller doubles as an ergonomic padded backpack that can be carried anywhere you go. The straps easily stash for when you check your bag. Fits your board, pump, and collapsible paddle.
Hala’s River Rocker curves precisely from tip-to-tail for superior maneuverability and surfability. Punch big holes, surf small pockets and big river waves, and hop eddy fences like a pro.

Hala’s patented DoubleStack™ Construction shows up in two different Hala boards this year, the Playita 2+2 and the Peño 3+2.
DoubleStack™ construction allows us to put a 2" rail on an inflatable board. This helps our inflatable surfers perform just like a hard surfboard with a 2" rail but with the durability and roll-ability of an inflatable SUP. We invented this technology in 2016 and have been innovating it since.
All of our Carbon Construction™ boards are made with patented Carbon + Fusion Drop Stitch material, not your run-of-the-mill stringer technology. These boards have measured up to three times more rigid in flex testing. Find out why Hala's Carbon Construction is the best in the industry.
The outcome? You get an inflatable board that performs like a hardboard while still maintaining the convenience of inflatable portability and durability. But don’t just take our word for it, get on a Carbon Construction™ board and feel the difference!
Hala’s Core Construction™ boards are made with our bomber Double-Layer Drop Stitch technology that hardcore paddlers have come to trust. Combine this with innovative design updates and you get the same burly Hala boards that you expect, with crisp and distinct new design features from hours spent at the drawing board.
Fusion Bi-Layer Drop Stitch brings precision and efficiency to this construction. Think lean and mean yet lightweight. We are able to use less material overall by utilizing a new manufacturing technology that maintains overall durability.
